This month we are highlighting our AUTO ACCIDENT TREATMENTS. Advanced Medical of Florida is committed to supporting the community. For this month’s community outreach service project we went to Shepherd’s Village. Shepherd’s Village is a wonderful non-profit organization that focuses on helping single parents in need. They provide safe housing, mentorship, education, and many other resources to help moms who have fallen on hard times due to death, divorce, abuse, or other unexpected circumstances that have led them to being single mothers.

The organization is run by former single mothers who have persevered through the challenging times of raising little ones and are now thriving in their adult lives. The goal of the organization is to better support single mothers so they and their children have the best chance for success.

At AMF, we have a culture of personal development and growth, so when we found out about Shepherd’s Village from our patient who volunteers there, we knew this was a great organization for us to get involved with. Our idea was to purchase and donate new books for the community of moms there. We chose “Failing Forward” by John Maxwell because this book talks about challenges that arise in life and how to overcome them, learn from them, and move forward.
